HELLO, I'M RISSA.
It's nice to meet you.
I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in May 2020 with a major in public relations and a minor in business. I am currently pursuing a Master’s of Science in Marketing at my alma mater in the McCombs School of Business. For as long as I can remember, my favorite word has been 'why'. The MSM program has equipped me with the tools necessary to understand data that can be used to answer this question. My greatest strength is my ability to synthesize this data and tell a compelling story with it.

My experience lies in many facets of the PR world. I have completed two fellowships at a globe-spanning PR agency, but also served as the sole PR consultant at a boutique not-for-profit marketing company. In all I do, I work diligently and efficiently to find creative solutions that best meet the demands at hand. My organizational skills and ability to multi-task have contributed to my success both inside and outside of the classroom.

I am an excellent team-worker with the confidence to take the lead and the ability to actively listen to my peers. Finally, I am daring enough to move to a new country for six months without any familiar faces on my side of a very large pond.
